• Prospects and develops assigned accounts and provides parts and service to meet customer needs.
• Develops E-commerce, loyalty programs, and other business opportunities for all assigned accounts, provides quotes and closes sales.
• Establishes and maintains close-working relationships with customers at all levels.
• Introduces Carquest of Hawaii capabilities to all customers.
• Makes routine sales calls on customers in assigned markets and maintains a quoting process for parts and service.
• Provides coordination between customers and said departments to provide best possible service.
• Maintains customer contact information, daily sales call reports and weekly call planners.
• Assists the Credit Department as required in the collection of past due A/R.
• Develops sales goals and objectives for each market.
• Performs any job that may be assigned as necessary to meet the company, department, or individual goals and objectives
• Attends scheduled meetings at specified locations.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years in auto parts sales environment with experience in customer service preferred.
• A valid Drivers’ License with a good driving record required.
• Must have ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter.
• Must be organized and a good planner.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to set and meet goals required.
• Must own a cell phone. If eligible, reimbursement will be made according to our Bring Your Own Device program.

• Walking: Moves about on foot often up and down stairs and through uneven terrain.
• Handling: Seizes, helps, or works with hands.
• Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous paperwork and equipment parts.
• Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
• Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
• Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
• Vision: Reads paperwork and records on the computer.
• Talking: Communicates by phone and in person.
• Sitting: Sits at desk and in vehicle for extended periods.
• Lifting: Up to 60 lbs. daily, frequent exertion.

• Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
• Temp/Weather: Works in both office and outdoor environment.
